Nehemiah Foundation Executive Director Position Description
The Nehemiah Foundation of Springfield/Clark County, Ohio, a 501(c)(3) organization serves the local community by equipping and resourcing 29 non-profit leaders and organizations. Through spiritual encouragement, funding, social media and marketing, networking, legitimacy and leadership training, The Nehemiah Foundation supports the work of Christ-centered leaders who serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families in the Springfield/Clark County area. The Nehemiah Foundation Board of Trustees is seeking a qualified candidate to assume the role of Executive Director to lead and cast vision for the future of this organization and its affiliates.
The qualified applicant will adequately demonstrate skills to:
Lead, engage and advise the board of trustees, foster teamwork among the staff and cast vision for the organization.
Shepherd and/or counsel Nehemiah Affiliates and foster healthy and collaborative relationships.
Organize, oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including financial oversight, employee management and grants management.
Effectively communicate the story of The Nehemiah Foundation in positive and collaborative ways throughout the community.
Engage a broad cross-section of the community, including faith leaders, city leaders, other non-profit leaders, business owners and individual donors.
Raise funds to support the work of the organization through event planning and donor relations.
The qualified applicant will:
Be a person of integrity, having a faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that upholds the belief statement of The Nehemiah Foundation.
Have at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Have at least 5 years of progressive management experience in non-profit work
Adapt to diverse situations and a broad spectrum of people and culture
Demonstrate competence in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
